Create Shining Text In Photoshop

In this tutorial we will learn how to make a nice shining text.

1. Create a new file (Ctrl+N) 600x600 px, RGB color, Transparent Content. Fill the layer with black color. Type the inscription. I type "Shining Text" with Arial Black font and 18 pt size. Click Ctrl+Shift+E to unite the layers.

2. Use Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with 2 px radius. Now use Filter > Stylize > Solarize. Now dublicate this layer.

3. Use Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates. Choose "Polar to Rectangular" parameter.

4. Click Ctrl+I. Now use Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CW

5. Use Filter > Stylize > Wind with the following parameters: Method - Wind, Direction - From the Right. Now click Ctrs+F twice in order to repeat Wind filter with the same parameters. Now click Ctrl+Shift+L to adjust levels.

6. Click Ctrl+I to invert the image. Now click Ctrl+F 3 times to repeat Wind filter.

7. Use Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CCW to rotate the image. Now use Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates with "Rectangular to Polar" parameter.

8. In "Layers" box rotate 2 layers. Now use "Screen" mixing level.
